If you are looking for a silver bangle which is more substantial you might want to look at a cuff bangle instead of a hinged bangle.
A cuff bangle can be made in different thicknesses and widths. The slim bangles need to be thicker silver so that they stay sturdy. The wider cuff bangles can be made with thinner sterling silver and still stay rigid.
1. Slim 6mm Sterling Silver Cuff Bangle This lovely bangle is 6mm wide and is made with 2mm thick sterling silver. A beautiful bangle for everyday wear which is very sturdy and solid due to the 2mm thickness. This bangle is hallmarked at Birmingham Assay Office as it is 21 grams.
2. 12mm Wide Sterling Silver Plain Cuff Bangle Our handmade plain sterling silver 1.2cm cuff bracelet is a lovely wide bangle, something that would stand out on anyone's wrist This bangle is handcrafted in our workshop. Each cut is deeply cut out of the silver so the pattern will last forever. The pretty amethyst stone set in the centre of one of the flowers finishes this bangle off for a real statement piece.
4. Hammered Design Heavy Men's Sterling Silver Cuff Bangle A contemporary cuff bangle for a man. This cuff bangle is a chunky 3.2mm thick and 8mm wide, it weighs a heavy 41 grams so is very substantial. We have given this bangle a hammered finish on the outside.
